Emily is the founder of Birds of Hope. She has raised over $34,000 to support ActiveWater, an organization providing clean water, hygiene training, medical care, and improved sanitation projects to communities in Zambia, Africa.

Emily is now in her second year serving in Krakow, Poland. She and a few other volunteer missionaries run a multi-functional coffee shop that does more than serve coffee.
